Why aren’t my students showing up in Learning Ally, or are unable to log in through Clever or ClassLink?

Please see below for a list of things to check if your student cannot login:

Confirm their login method. If users are integrated with ClassLink or Clever, they will not be able to manually login with a username and password on our website. Instead, they will need to use the “Log in through your school” option on our site, or access via their Clever or ClassLink portals.

Confirm whether they are being shared from their rostering provider. If you search their name in Clever or ClassLink does their record populate?

Confirm they are shared with the required data. Values like email, student number and grade are all required for user creation. If a user is shared without these values, their record will not be created.

Confirm the user is shared to an enrolled org. It is very common for users to be shared to a non-enrolled district org or school which will prevent their account creation.

Why am I getting a login error even though my credentials are correct?

Please make sure you are logging in the correct way. If your school is integrated with Clever, ClassLink or Google SSO you may need to access via the "Login Through Your School" option on our website.

If you have a manual login, please try resetting your login info and if that still does not work please reach out to Customer Care at 800-221-4792 or customercare@learningally.org.

Why is Google SSO not working for our school?

Please confirm with your account contact that your Google SSO integration has been set up. If so please confirm that users are trying to login with the correct email domain that was used to set up the integration.

If that still does not work, you may need to make sure access to third party app is configured from Google. More information on this can be found here.

How long does it take for students to sync from Clever/ClassLink?

Our data sync normally runs every 24 hours, but this can take longer during high volume times like back to school. If you have any questions about the status of your data sync please reach out to Customer Care at 800-221-4792 or customercare@LearningAlly.org.

How do I add students manually?

Once logged in, Educators and Admins can go to their Manage Students tab and click "Add Individual Student" to add students one at a time. If an Educator or Admin has the Data Manager role, they can also click Add/Update Student From File" to add students in bulk via CSV file. These options will not be available if integrated with Clever or ClassLink

How can my students login over the summer?

Your method of logging in over the summer depends on how your student’s account is set up—students can access the Learning Ally Audiobook Solution via the same method your district provided during the school year to sign in over the summer; through our website with their username and password, using Google SSO, using Clever or using ClassLink. Why can’t I login to my account, I’m getting a message to call Customer Care? (On Hold due to Payment Issue)

If your account is on hold, it’s most often because a renewal payment is overdue. Other possible reasons include a failed payment method or required account verification. Check your email for any notices about the hold (including your spam or junk mail folder,) then review the Billing or Account alerts for specific instructions. If you don’t see clear instructions or can’t resolve the issue online, contact Customer Care at 800-221-4792 or customercare@learningally.org.
