Katherine Young is a certified Speech/Language Pathologist currently working at Grayslake High School District 127. She attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for both her undergraduate and master’s degrees. She is currently completing a Transition Specialist Certificate program to better prepare students' speech/language development for post-secondary endeavors. Katherine actively seeks to implement technology and multi-sensory resources to facilitate instruction in a variety of settings and programs. Katherine is a recipient of Learning Ally’s Winslow Coyne Reitnouer Excellence in Teaching Award.
