Volunteer Orientation:
Our studio tours are conducted on Tuesdays at 2:15 p.m., Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m. and Thursdays at 5:45 p.m.; an appointment is necessary. For further information about volunteering, please call the studio at 609-750-1830.
The New Jersey Studio is seeking detail-oriented, computer-proficient volunteers as new readers and recording session directors to record our textbooks. We are in need of specialists in the fields of:
- mathematics
- economics
- biology
- chemistry
- medicine
- computers
- Spanish
A commitment of two hours a week for at least one year is required.
AT&T Labs, Middletown, NJ, Volunteer Program: A Special Invitation to AT&T Employees
At our satellite studio at AT&T, volunteers record computer and telecommunication texts that are in demand by high school, college and post-graduate students.
If you are an AT&T employee and have a background in computers or telecommunications, please consider volunteering with us at our satellite studio. Training on our digital recording equipment is provided. In addition to learning the recording equipment, we will also teach you how to read tables, figures, diagrams and charts included with the text.
