The Chicago Loop Studio held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Party on August 24 to recognize and honor volunteers. Director, Volunteer Services Leontyne Anglin traveled to the event from the national office in Princeton, NJ as well as Director of Philanthropy, Northeast Keith O’Brien who traveled from New York. Studio staff presented several volunteer milestone awards. Bernie Strauss was recognized for the highest number of volunteer hours. Other lighthearted awards were also presented: Jim McCullough received the award for the “Longest Commute” and Jeff Butzen, who went from newbie to board member in the past fiscal year, received the “Rookie of the Year” award.
