Susie Langenkamp, a reader in the Charlottesville, Virginia studio, wrote an essay about volunteering for RFB&D that was aired on the local PBS station.
“It was a big hit in the community, and staff and volunteers who heard it were very taken with how Susie captured the volunteer experience,” Mary Ann Coffey, production director said. “We plan to share it with new volunteers, as a means of introducing them to RFB&D.”
