The Boca Raton recording studio, on the campus of Florida Atlantic University (FAU), held the studio’s first Learning Ally Hour on Saturday, September 10, 2011. More than two dozen area residents attended this informative event that was highlighted by the presence of a Learning Ally member, Ann Marie Lucie Bedard, and Florida author, William Allen, and his wife Helen. Those attending learned about Learning Ally's services in the State of Florida and across the nation. Attendees had the chance to tour the studio and to see, first-hand, Learning Ally's audiobooks in production, and sign up for future volunteer training opportunities.
