Learning Ally’s Austin studio held its annual Volunteer Recognition Event on Tuesday, November 15. The event is the studio’s way of thanking volunteers for the time they share with Learning Ally. It’s also a nice way for volunteers to visit with old friends and meet new folks, too!
The DreamBuilders Luncheon was held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 11:30-12:30 at Renaissance Hotel, Austin.
The 2011 Volunteering in America report recently released by the Corporation for National and Community Service boasts record growth for “millennials” (ages 16-28) who are making it a point to give back. This certainly rings true for the wave of high school students who have volunteered at our Austin studio for years … and just keep coming back.
