Volunteer News

  • November: we recruited 14 new studio volunteers this month, including persons with economics, math/physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, and finance/law. We also recruited 1 new home recording volunteer with computer end user expertise.
  • Our Production Administrator Stacie is back from a trip to Albania this month. She was visiting her son who is in the Peace Corps and stationed there.
  • We participated in a Charity Chili Cook-Off in November, and although we did not win, we got some additional exposure in the community and recruited some volunteers.
  • We honored a long-time volunteer Tom Hoover at his retirement community as he recently retired from volunteer service after accumulating more than 3,200 hours since 2000. Tom had a distinguished career with several patents and degrees, and has been a valuable volunteer, even to the extent of doing home recording into his 90s.
