Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Cindy Cortina was recently named Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In this role, Cindy is responsible for leading a sales and marketing team to grow school/district memberships, state-funded grant programs and professional development in target markets throughout the United States. In addition, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic sales and marketing plans that support revenue growth and improve business structure and practices. Cindy has been with Learning Ally for nine years and has held various marketing and sales positions.
Cindy has 25+ years working in education marketing and sales mostly acquired from her tenure at Dow Jones & Company, Inc. In her roles she lead an education marketing and sales team that was responsible for growing The Wall Street Journal Barron’s print and online circulation on college campuses across the country. In addition, she was General Manager with full P&L responsibility for The Wall Street Journal Classroom Edition, a custom-published monthly newspaper targeted to the secondary school market, and The National Business Employment Weekly.
